The Challenge:
When an alert indicates a potential threat along the 800-kilometer gas pipeline route, it can take a significant amount of time for the security patrol vehicle to reach the location. In winter, certain areas become inaccessible by vehicle, as the pipeline traverses regions without adjacent roads.
The Solution:
Utilizing autonomous drones, launched from a secure box and operated remotely from a control room. The drone can quickly reach the location, is not restricted by terrain, and provides real-time video footage of the situation to the control room and security team. Natgaz is currently piloting the use of autonomous drones in open areas in collaboration with T&M.
